No. The information on the Ozmedica website is general in nature and is not a substitute for personalised medical advice. It provides an overview of common cosmetic conditions, treatments and therapeutic goods, but it is not tailored to your individual circumstances. For medical advice, you should speak directly with a qualified health professional who can assess you in person and provide recommendations specific to you.
By making a booking at Ozmedica, you agree to the stated booking policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel, Ozmedica kindly requests at least 24 hours’ notice. If you do not attend your appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, 50% of the total appointment fee may be charged as a cancellation fee.
Ozmedica’s refund and returns policy is 30 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, products must be unused, in their original condition and in the original packaging, and you will usually need proof of purchase. Certain categories, such as gift cards, downloadable products and some health and personal care items, are not returnable. Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified if a refund has been approved. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method.
Yes. At Ozmedica, treatments are only recommended after a professional skin assessment and consultation. Your clinician will talk through your concerns, review your medical history and examine your skin before suggesting any options.
This allows us to confirm whether a treatment is suitable for you, explain potential benefits and risks, and design a plan that fits your goals and lifestyle.
We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. During your consultation, your clinician will consider:
Your main concerns (for example, breakouts, redness, pigmentation, texture or early age-related changes)
Your skin type and current skincare routine
Any previous treatments you’ve had and how you responded
Relevant medical history and medications
Based on this, we may recommend treatments such as chemical peels, Dermasweep, Divine Pro, Pro Yellow Laser, Medlite, MediLUX LED, SculpSure or a combination of in-clinic treatments and medical-grade skincare, where appropriate. Suitability is always assessed individually, and no specific result can be guaranteed.
Ozmedica focuses on non-surgical skin and laser treatments designed to help improve the appearance of concerns such as acne-prone skin, redness, pigmentation, dullness and early age-related changes in suitable patients.
Results vary from person to person and develop over time. Some people notice changes in skin brightness or texture relatively quickly, while others require a course of treatments and ongoing skincare to see gradual improvement. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations with you before you decide to proceed.
The number of treatments depends on your starting point, the concern being treated, the technology used and how your skin responds. Some options, such as LED light therapy or certain facials, may be scheduled more frequently, while others, like laser or advanced resurfacing, may be spaced further apart.
Downtime also varies. Many treatments are designed with little to no downtime, while others can involve short-term redness, sensitivity, dryness or flaking as the skin renews. Your clinician will explain what to expect, how to care for your skin afterwards and when you can return to normal activities.
Yes. In many cases, in-clinic treatments are paired with medical-grade skincare to support and maintain results at home. At Ozmedica, we work with brands such as SkinCeuticals and ZO Skin Health, recommending products that are appropriate for your skin type and treatment plan.
Your clinician will review any products you’re currently using and advise which to continue, pause or replace, aiming to keep your routine effective, realistic and aligned with your in-clinic treatments.
